About me
Genki Matsuyama first discovered break dancing in the streets of Japan in 2006. Since then he has majored in Street Dance at the Cat Music College and trained with numerous Contemporary artists in Germany, France, Switzerland and Australia.Today, his practice has evolved beyond fixed techniques and forms, focusing instead on the beauty of movement itself — exploring body awareness, flow, and interaction with our own bodies and others'.Drawing primarily from House, Contemporary, and Contact Improvisation, he weaves these influences into his own personal, evolving style.
